Here are some gift ideas for the indoor gardener
Pots.
You can’t go wrong with decorative pots, and there are so many styles to choose from. Here are a few favorites!
These sweet little owl pots are perfect for succulents.
Or this fun flower pot with a secret design on one side of a hedgehog family!

Ways to move heavy pots.
If they have heavy, large potted plants and want to move them, a rolling plant base is a great gift.

There are flat, wooden rolling pallets as well, made for any size pot.

Terrariums.
A terrarium kit is a great way for an indoor gardener to create a whole new garden!
This beautiful hanging terrarium is super easy (for even the non-gardener) because it contains air plants! (kit includes the decor and the plants, too!)

Or this unicorn fairy garden kit that’s perfect for kids! It comes with the plants, soil, and even the ceramic mushrooms!

By the way, if you want to make your own fairy pot planter, check out the one I made. It was super simple!

Window boxes.
If there isn’t a lot of space for a flower pot to sit, get them one of these!
How about a window box that attaches right to the inside of a window? The plants get great light and it doesn’t take up any valuable real estate. A win-win!

Hangers.
There are plenty of other ways to hang up plants, too.
Like this set of 5 fun macrame hangers.

Or even a hanging plant shelf!

Indoor herb gardens.
There are plenty of ideas for those who want to grow an indoor herb garden, too.
For your favorite foodie, here’s a culinary herb garden starter kit that includes seeds, seedling starter trays, and more.

Know a serious indoor gardener who doesn’t have a lot of natural light? They will LOVE this hydroponic LED grow light planter. Simply add water and seeds…

Here are some gift ideas for the outdoor gardener.
Tools and tool organizers.
As any gardener will tell you, half the fun of gardening is getting to play in the dirt. But there are plenty of tools to help them get the job done.
This 8-piece gardening tool tote is a great (and organized) way to lug all the tools needed around the garden. These tools are made of steel, and the tote is of sturdy canvas. This set should last a long time.

Ways to make gardening more comfortable.
A garden scooter.
Does your gardener have a big area to cover, or find it difficult to stoop a lot? A garden scooter is a great gift!

A Kneeling pad.
Another must-have is a cushioning kneeling pad. It not only feels great on your knees, but also keeps your legs a bit more clean. (I use mine all the time!) You can use it in other ways, too. For example, use it as a cushion at sports stadiums. It is also useful for kneeling in front of the tub when giving your baby a bath. There are more uses as well.

Gardening gloves are a must.
I recommend thinner ones for planting and weeding. They protect your hands from scratches and keep dirt from getting under your nails.
These gardening gloves are what I use for light work. Breathable fabric but latex-coated palms and fingertips for a good grip and fingertip protection!

A sturdy, thick pair of gloves with long sleeves is essential when working with thorns and rough materials.

Protection from the elements.
Sun hat.
Don’t forget a sun hat to keep your gardener protected from the sun!

SPF sleeves.
These sleeves are a must when working out in the sun.

Waterproof boots.
Or some fun gardening boots to put a smile on their face and keep their feet dry!

Other necessary tools.
Pop-up lawn bag.
It may sound boring, but a pop-up lawn bag will be a welcome gift for an outdoor gardener. Easy to store and great for holding leaves, grass clippings, weeds, and other debris.

There are also larger ones that hold up to 80 gallons.
A garden cart.
Another great gift is a garden cart. These are useful all over the yard and garden.

A potting table.
A potting table is a great way to store all their gardening supplies and pot up all those plants!

Trellises.
Gardens that have climbing vines or several plant baskets benefit from an elegant yet sturdy freestanding trellis. And they can be reused year after year.

And finally, here are some great gift ideas for any gardener!
Fun seeds to grow.
For your favorite vegetable gardener, give them some fun new seeds. Have them try these unusual seed packs that let them grow six fun veggies. These include purple peppers, black carrots, and striped tomatoes!

No matter what your gardening skill level is, everyone loves Chia Pets! And my favorite this year is none other than the Bob Ross Chia Pet. Everyone needs a happy little planter like this! 🙂 At the link, find other Chia Pets. Like all of the Golden Girls, a hedgehog, and many more designs!

Even fresh greens for their pet.
For pet lovers, get them their own organic pet grass kit.

Here are some of my favorite ways to organize all of your pet supplies, too!
Plant stakes.
Whether they have an indoor or outdoor garden, plant stakes are a welcome design touch!
Herb gardeners will love these gorgeous herb garden markers. These are made from acrylic, so they won’t disintegrate over the season.

Or these oh-so-punny wooden plant markers with fun “Latin” sayings.

These cute terra cotta mushroom self-watering stakes would be a welcome gift for your indoor gardener! And they are much easier to fill than those glass globes…

It wouldn’t be the ultimate gardener gift guide if we didn’t include garden gnomes!
Of course, there are always the good old standard garden gnomes.
As a retired librarian, I particularly like these little guys! 🙂

But you could also get a more quirky one. Consider a dragon and the great gnome massacre for your geeky gardener friends! It would also be an impressive white elephant gift. 😉

Hopefully, you found the perfect present for your favorite gardener here in the ultimate gift guide for the gardener!
And just for fun, some very “interesting” vegetables that came from my own garden! 😁
Here is a meme I made out of a green pepper I picked in my garden. It’s giving me a subtle message…

And my garden also produced a carrot shaped like M.C. Hammer’s famous pants!
When I showed my friend, she had the perfect quip:
Can’t crunch this… 🤣

Happy shopping and gardening!
