Create a catch-all spot.
As you find things (the socks and shoes left under the table, the toys, homework, or even my husband’s tools – which I found in strange places…) that belong somewhere else, put them in that box.
Have the whole family take some time at the end of the day to take their things out of the box and put them away.
The rule is that the box has to be emptied at the end of each day.
It takes very little time and you end of with a decluttered home every night!
