Graduation season is here and so are the graduation parties!

As part of my series on creating an awesome graduation party, here are some fabulous graduation party decorations to make your own graduate’s party perfect.  Many of these decorations are keepsakes of congratulations the graduate can look back on as they embark on their new path, whether they are graduating from high school or college.

We’ve had fun over the years celebrating all 3 of my kids’ high school graduation parties, so I want to share my finds to help you in getting ready.  For more ideas, check out these ideas for graduation party food and gifts for the graduate.

So, here are my 10 favorite graduation party decorations!

1. Words of wisdom jar.

If you have a Cricut machine, create a fun vinyl sticker to attach to the jar. If not, writing on it with a paint pen is easy, too!

2. Personalized Jenga game.

Have guests sign a Jenga piece or write notes for the graduate.  This is a great way for the graduate to break the ice with new roommates or friends by playing with their unique Jenga game.

3. Autographed initial.

Purchase a large 3-D cardboard or wooden initial letter and have guests sign it or write a note to the graduate.

For my oldest daughter, I purchased a cardboard E and then spray painted it blue.

Then, I bought a set of metallic Sharpies for people to sign the letter with.  Finally, we sprayed it with a clear coat of sealer to protect it for years to come.
