This week most of us are finally seeing signs of Spring and I bet you are ready for winter to be over.
So, I have pulled together some of my favorite Spring cleaning tips to help you get your house ready for fresh Spring air, new grass and flowers, and glorious sunshine! (Plus a bonus on getting your house company-ready in just 15 minutes!)
Spring cleaning tip #1
How to get your kitchen REALLY clean.
Are there parts of your kitchen that you just can’t get as clean as want, like appliances, sponges, & cookware?
Next, it’s time to give those old towels some new life.
Spring cleaning tip #2
Have your towels seen better days? Not as soft or absorbent as when you first got them? Don’t go buy more. You can refresh those old towels easily at home so they are softer, more absorbent and smell fresh and clean!
Don’t forget the pets! Here’s an easy way to clean that smelly old dog bed!
Spring cleaning tip #3
Clean the dog bed? Not a pleasant topic, but to keep your home clean and your pet healthy, cleaning soiled pet bedding is gross but necessary (and easy).
Now’s the time to get your tools all spiffed up and ready for doing all those outdoor DIY projects you’ve been putting off.
Spring cleaning tip #4
Do you have rusty tools that have seen better days? Here’s a scrub-free, easy 1-ingredient way to remove rust from tools so they look great again.
Winter mud, salt, and grime can really do a number on your car, inside and out.
Spring cleaning tip #5
Here are 10 ways to organize and clean your car so it’s ready for nicer weather, too!
As a professional organizer, I know how important it is to keep things organized and put away, but, sometimes life just gets in the way, doesn’t it?
Believe me, there are times when I look around and wonder how in the world my house got so messy and cluttered! Can I get an amen???
Bonus Spring cleaning tip!
So, here is one last tip to ONLY BE USED IN EMERGENCIES. It’s how to get your house company-ready in just 15 minutes.
BUT, please, please, please once the company is gone, really do take the time to put things away. I promise, even though it is a lot of work, you will feel better, less stressed, and happier in your home once it is neat and decluttered.
Use these tips and soon your house will be sparkling clean and smell like Spring!
Enjoy the Spring weather!
